Christina: "I have taken a liking to thrifting lately. It gives me a thrill knowing that the clothes I’m buying had a life before their time with me. It’s likes clothes reincarnation. I like to think the woman who wore this dress before me was a spunky twenty-something who wore it with big platform shoes and a daisy choker, or maybe she was just a fashionable diner waitress. I also just love the quality of older clothes. Not to sound like a Grandma, but they just don’t make clothes like they used it. This dress I’m wearing is probably from the late 90s or early 2000s and it’s in perfect condition. The fabric is stronger and more durable than some of the dresses I’ve purchased from stores this past year. Also, not to mention, thrifting at the right places is super cheap. I usually won’t buy something if it’s more than $15. I believe this dress cost me $8.99, which is pushing my price limit, but I couldn’t help myself."
